The Broker — The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that range is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That will make the platform set once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
This is the part that requires honesty. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. It does factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
