TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade - What It Is

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
